Peak Living was chosen as the contractor for the reno on our family chalet and undoubtedly was the right choice! What started as a reno almost completely turned into a total rebuild of the original Viceroy home. In the 6 months of the project, there was not one day where there was not someone on site, from handling water issues to insulation issues to wasps, the team was able to handle each problem in a cost effective way while keeping us informed. The house has kept its original integrity but has been paired with modern upgrades with Tom and his crews’ keen eye for details. Peak Living realized the sentimentality of the home and was able to utilize many of the older features in new ways. Despite many surprises in the reno of this house, Tom provided us with options and kept us up to date on costs, allowing us to make the final decision. John and I would use Tom and the Peak Living crew again in the future.  He has not only been our contractor but also has become a friend.

We used Tom to renovate our existing 2nd floor bathroom and convert it into 2 bathrooms to create an ensuite. Tom was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. All work was completed in 4 weeks. Tom kept us updated on the progress regularly and the total cost was reasonable. I would recommend Tom to my friends and neighbours.

We used Tom and his team to install a ceiling/floor in a main floor office/den that had a cathedral ceiling, so it also created a mezzanine upstairs — about 200 sq. ft. Tom was always on time with a smile, very meticulous, knows what he is doing — very professional with resulting quality workmanship! The project was completed within the expected time frame and budget. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tom & Peak Living and will certainly use him again in the future.

We just moved into a new home and needed several updates including the installation of kitchen backsplash, safety handrails, laundry shelving plus dryer venting. Tom was on time and provided a realistic estimate. The job was completed very professionally with great care taken to protect adjacent areas including flooring. Tom and his team did a wonderful job on our Blue Mtn basement renovation. It included 2 bedrooms, a 3-piece bath, a rec room and a utility room. From design, permit, construction, inspections, sub trades to the finishing touches, the entire project was managed on time and to budget. We are weekend users of our Blue Mtn ski chalet and as such all the construction interaction with Tom was done by phone, text, and email. I would recommend Peak Living for your construction needs. 

Peak Living built a 3-car garage, work area, and storage loft from excavation, foundation, framing, roof and completed sealed building. Tom and his crew are very knowledgeable about construction, building techniques and finishing. They reviewed the plans that I had prepared and they made suggestions and comments that led to a better installation. They looked ahead and kept me posted on progress and next steps. Normally I do my own work around our home, but this project was too much for me to handle alone. I am very picky on how I like things done and Tom and his crew exceeded my expectations. The building inspector and other trades made comments on how well the Peak Living crew had framed and finished their work. All in all, my family and I are very happy with the job Peak Living did and I would highly recommend them.

Peak Living recently completed a basement renovation to add two bedrooms, a bathroom including a shower, plus a computer area. From design through all construction phases we found Tom and his crew to be very considerate and professional, having concern for safety and protection of our property. Tom took care of all aspects ensuring that the design, framing, plumbing and electrical etc. were completed to code. We appreciated that Tom made several suggestions to improve the project and used quality products. We are extremely pleased with the finished product. On time; on budget. We hired Peak Living to renovate our ensuite bathroom with a new shower, floors and toilet, along with new floors in our laundry room and guest bathroom. We have been extremely satisfied and happy with the work that has been done by Tom and his team. They are extremely knowledgeable, willing to work to your specifications, and very flexible.
